Last Shots from Alaska

I think this is our last post of Alaska photos. As you can tell, we had a great time. On July 12, Tracey, Maeve, and I took a walk along the coastal trail before stopping for sushi at the restaurant with the fish tank that Maeve enjoyed so much. Here we are at Point Woronzof, with Cook Inlet and Mount Susitna in the background:





Point Woronzof happens to be at the end of one of the runways at Anchorage International Airport, so it's also a great spot to watch planes taking off and landing, including 747s so heavy with cargo that they seem like they'll barely clear the trees. Here are Tracey and Maeve watching a smaller passenger plane arrive:
