Erin Go Bragh!
To all sons and daughters of Ireland spread far and wide throughout the world, and to those still at home—from Bantry Bay up to Derry Quay and from Galway to Dublin town, as the song has it—Maeve wishes you a happy St. Patrick's Day!
Though I am ignorant of most things Irish (I have no idea what Erin go bragh means), I do agree that Maeve is a lovely Irish clover. Happy (Belated) St. Paddy's Day, Maeve!
Declan walks as of August 15. He's now walking like crazy, riding his push-toys, and keeping up with Maeve. He loves to be chased by her, play peekaboo with anyone, and "pet" the cats. He likes all fruit more than anything else, but he'll eat most of what we give him. He talks a lot, especially about balloons, kitties, and daddy.
What Maeve Likes These Days
Talking in long sentences with lots of "so" and "but". Asking why about everything. Pointing out convertibles and ambulances. Talking about trains. Taking toys away from Declan. Hugging Declan.
A Donahue and St. Patrick's Day? Do those two really go together?
ReplyDeleteMaeve is indeed as cute as clover!
She looks like the best irish baby!!! So cute. Her cousin Will is the same size!!
