Until now, her repertoire has consisted mostly of the following:
- bahhh (ball)
- kii kat (kitty cat)
- kah (cat)
- Dada (you know who)
- Hey, Dada (greeting Daddy)
- hiiiiiii! (hi)
- biiiiiii! (bye)
But in the last week or so, she's added these:
- Mama (finally!)
- Whas dat?
- nees (knees)
- tee (teeth)
- tee tah (teeter totter)
- see sah (see saw: Her daycare teachers are helping her maintain her dad's northeastern lexicon by teaching her to say "see saw" instead of "teeter totter.")
And Mommy's personal favorite: pink shooooos, for her beloved pink Pedipeds.
This is only the beginning! We can't wait to hear what else she has to say.
It is cruel how long it takes them to learn "Mama," isn't it? I'm impressed that she's already working on synonyms (kitty cat and cat; teeter totter and see saw). --Debbie
