Spokane Half-Marathon
Today Brian ran the Spokane Half-Marathon. It was a brisk 28 degrees as he boarded the bus for the 8:45 a.m. downtown start, but it was warm enough in the sun and even warmer once the running started. By mid-morning it was a perfect fall day. Tracey and the kids came down to the park in plenty of time to watch Brian finish (about two minutes faster than last year and two minutes slower than the year before), and then we all went out for an early lunch and a visit to the bookstore. All in all, a nice morning.

The Red Sox hat needs to go. Support a real team
ReplyDeleteBut please keep the Obama T-shirt! Way to rock the vote!!!
ReplyDeleteOh, Jim -- It must be hard for you with the Yankees not making the playoffs because they finished six games behind Boston and the Rockies not even breaking a .500 win percentage. But jealousy is unbecoming! BTW, why don't you sign your comments, Mr. "Anonymous"?
ReplyDeleteTiffany & Aaron -- In addition to a few pro-Red Sox comments, I heard several "Go Obama" cheers along the course and even a few people chanting "O-ba-ma, O-ba-ma." --Brian
